Go Back & Get It – The Love Blueprint is a powerful anthology of poetry and prose from the Sankofa Writers Collective—WN Williams, MW Robinson, LR Middleton, and GE Hunt—that explores the transformative and enduring nature of love throughout the African Diaspora. Rooted in the Sankofa philosophy, which means “go back and fetch it” in the Twi language of Ghana, this collection urges readers to seek wisdom, inspiration, and motivation from their ancestors in order to shape and nurture their present and future.
Four individuals gathered to gain insight and hold each accountable through the Release the Words Within Writers’ Workshop.
From that experience, the Sankofa Writers’ Collective was birthed.
We embraced the philosophy of Sankofa to Go Back and Get knowledge, guidance, direction, motivation, inspiration, and LOVE from the ancestors. Their voices prompted us to share the Love Blueprint.
